Photography Privacy Statement
At Gnan's Photography, we take the privacy and confidentiality of our clients very seriously. We understand that photography involves capturing personal moments, and we are committed to protecting your privacy rights.
Image Usage and Consent
We will never use your photographs for marketing purposes, portfolio displays, or any other public use without your explicit written consent. All client photographs are treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Before any image is used in our portfolio, website, or marketing materials, we will obtain your written permission. You have the right to decline the use of your images for any purpose.
Image Storage and Security
Your photographs are stored securely and are only accessible to authorized personnel. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your images against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Client Rights
As our client, you have the right to:
- Request that your images not be used in our portfolio or marketing materials
- Request the removal of your images from our website or social media if they were previously shared with your consent
- Request information about how your images are being used
- Request the deletion of your images from our systems after the delivery of your final products
Shared Photo Galleries
When you open a gallery link we share with you, we set a first-party cookie so we can recognize repeat visits, and we record basic visit details (approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type) along with which photos you view, open, download or heart. This helps us understand which photos people enjoy. We do not sell or share this information.
Hearts show as counts to other viewers, never with your name. If you create a share link, the people you send it to see only the photos you picked, not who sent them.
After your first heart, the gallery may offer "Continue with Google". This is optional. If you choose it, Google shares your name and email address with us, which we use only to recognize you as a viewer of our galleries and to title your favorites list. You can ask us to delete this information at any time using the contact form.
